Larry Kays

Larry Kays is the River City Building Maintenance, Inc. (RCBM) founder and president. He has been in the industry since 1979. Larry is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, KY with a degree in Education and Personnel Management. Over the years, his experience has been with local, regional, and national companies.

He is personally responsible for the daily management of all janitorial and business operations in Virginia. Larry oversees all the marketing and business development activities which include Janitorial Operations, SaniGLAZE Tile and Grout Restoration, Air Duct Cleaning, and Indoor Air Quality and Building Maintenance Services.

He is also responsible for final evaluation of all products and equipment. Finally, Larry assures that quality control and performance, planning and scheduling is being achieved in a timely manner by conducting building inspections with RCBM managers and contract coordinators.

Larry's training has included all areas of employee relations, labor law, first aid, customer relations, inspection and rating, inventories, sales and marketing, quality control, public relations, purchasing, safety, technology of the industry, office management, trade practices, unions, and warehousing. Also included is training in carpet care, chemicals, communications, floor care, restroom cleaning, security, and work loading & scheduling.

Larry was associated with American Tobacco Company, Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company, General Building Maintenance, Global Maintenance, ISS Retail Cleaning Division, and Building Maintenance Services Retail Division.
